Congratulations to the Sedalia Dirtslingers club members that headed to Real R/C this past weekend for the RC Pro Series Event. Charles Schirmann, Eric Dillon, and Keith Deuel all made their way to Pleasant Hill for the weekend and came away with great finishes. All three competed in the Intermediate Buggy class with Charles and Eric making their way to the A Main with finishes of 2nd and 3rd respectively. Both drivers finished on the same lap as the leader and were hot on his tail. Keith brought home a finish of 9th in the B-Main when the weekend came to a close.
Great runs for all three guys. Congratulations again.

The first race of 2009 for the Sedalia Dirtslingers will be on Sunday, April 19, at Clover Dell R/C Speedway. Come out and enjoy the day and some great racing.

There will be a Club Meeting this Saturday, April 11, at the track. Various topics will be discussed including a decision on race time for 2009.

The Sedalia Dirtslingers will hold a club meeting on Wednesday, March 11, at 6:00 pm. The meeting will take place at SMC Electric Supply which is located at 1616 W. Main Street in Sedalia (directly across the street from Little Big Horn restaurant).
This meeting will be held to discuss several things with the key item being the track layout for 2009.
The meeting is open to anyone and all are welcome. To be able to vote on issues you will need to be a member for 2009. Memberships will also be accepted that night.
